Privacy Policy

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and optional professional information (company, role). When you use the Platform, we collect usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the service.

• To provide and maintain your account
• To send you the Daily Brief and platform notifications (which you can unsubscribe from at any time)
• To personalise your dashboard experience
• To improve the Platform based on aggregate usage patterns

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We use Supabase for authentication and database hosting. Their privacy policy applies to data processed on their infrastructure. We may use an AI provider (currently Anthropic) to generate the Daily Brief — no personal identifying information is included in those requests.

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email hello@oleaindex.com. We will respond within 30 days.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and — only with your consent — Google Analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used. See our Cookie Policy for details.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Price submissions you made as a contributor may be retained in anonymised form for the integrity of the historical index.
